Bill Jetton
Founder
Bill left rural Texas for California in 1975 and began apprenticing with a master builder in Mendocino. All of his initial pursuits were off-grid, including traditional water towers, a 250 ft. pedestrian suspension bridge, and small-scale alternative energy systems. In 1985 as part of the Bay Area Construction Brigade, Bill helped construct housing and a hydroelectric system for a coffee and dairy collective in Nicaragua. In the mid-1980s Jetton Construction moved from Mendocino to Berkeley, beginning 40+ years of service and craft in the Bay Area.
